Ipê Village is a one-month coliving and coworking space that will bring together 150 talents to prototype a new city and its governance system, leveraging digital and decentralized technologies to address longstanding societal challenges such as chronic poverty and the rise of human rights violations.
It is a step forward in Ipê City's long-term plan to build social technologies for a new city. You can read more about the project in the next sections.
We’ll select creators, engineers, and entrepreneurs to reimagine the city of the future and experiment with solutions for governance, finance, education, health, and public safety, which we call parallel institutions.
Our main goals at the pop-up city are:
Fostering a techno-optimistic culture that believes in freedom, progress, and fairness;
Prototype a new governance system and parallel institutions leveraging digital and decentralized technologies for a new city
